ORAL CHECKUP
Before cavities form,
early detection is the best defense.
Regular oral check-ups detect cavities, bite problems, and gum issues early — reducing treatment scope and cost. ESAM is a designated national infant oral check-up institution, and check-ups are conducted by a pediatric dental specialist.
Infant Oral Check-up
Government-SupportedInfant oral check-ups are part of the national health screening program. Check the date and period on the check-up voucher sent by the National Health Insurance Service, and register as 'Infant Oral Check-up' when you visit.

For children under 24 months, only air instruments are used — no water spray or suction.
School-age Regular Check-up
Recommended from age 6From age 6, when permanent teeth begin to emerge, we recommend check-ups every 6 months. Earlier detection of cavities and bite issues means less treatment burden.
Cavities
Check the presence and extent of decay in primary and permanent teeth.
Bite alignment
Evaluate upper-lower tooth contact and any jaw growth abnormalities.
Gums & mucosa
Check for gum inflammation and oral mucosal abnormalities.
Oral hygiene
Measure plaque index and provide proper brushing instruction.
