Under the National Health Insurance implant benefit in effect since 2014, patients aged 65 and older can receive insurance coverage for up to 2 implants in their lifetime. ESAM supports you from eligibility verification to treatment.

Insurance Implant Treatment Process
STEP 01
Eligibility verification
Confirm age 65+ status and check existing insurance implant history. Please bring your health insurance card and ID.
STEP 02
Precision examination
Cone beam CT analysis of jawbone condition. If bone grafting is needed, additional non-covered costs are explained in advance.
STEP 03
Implant placement
Implant is placed at the planned position, performed directly by an oral & maxillofacial surgery specialist.
STEP 04
Prosthetic attachment
After osseointegration, the final crown is fabricated and attached. Occlusion and aesthetics are verified before completion.

Frequently Asked Questions about Insurance Implants
If I need bone grafting, does insurance still apply?
Bone grafting itself is a non-covered item. Insurance covers the implant fixture placement and crown, but supplementary procedures like bone or gum grafting incur separate costs. We advise you on necessity after examination.
I already had one — can I get another?
If you are within the 2-lifetime limit, additional insurance coverage is available. We need to confirm the timing, site, and records of your first procedure. Cases from other clinics can be verified via history lookup.
Does it apply to both molars and front teeth?
Insurance implants apply to partial edentulism, covering both molars and front teeth. However, complete edentulism (all teeth missing) is subject to separate criteria.
I wear dentures — can I switch to implants?
Even with existing dentures, insurance coverage can apply to edentulous sites with no remaining teeth. Coverage eligibility is confirmed after examination.
